Planning for a Burial service
Unless your loved one has left specific instructions it may be difficult to choose between burial and cremation. With burial in mind there are many venues and cemeteries to choose from. Traditionally a dual service provides the opportunity for the participation of family and friends. If a religious service is planned, then the obvious option would be in a church of choice, followed by a cortege to the selected gravesite in the chosen cemetery. If a secular service is planned a number of areas can be accommodated, a dual service can commence from a funeral home chapel followed by the conclusion at the gravesite, or venue within the cemetery grounds. Whichever service is selected the traditional approach is not always followed, sometimes families prefer a simple alternative by holding a small graveside service. A Gentle Touch Funerals can assist, not only on the Gold Coast, Brisbane or Sunshine coast but will travel further afield such as country areas.
