On the Sheeps Back
Sheep shearing is the most iconic activity in rural Australia. Most of the pioneering shearing sheds have been built with the timbers felled on the land where its stands. Allowing the dim rays of light to prance across the backs of the sheep and floors of the shed. All woolsheds bear the scars of time and have that distinct greasy lanolin smell and feel, on anything you touch. The wool industry and the farmers are dedicated and rich in heritage. The hard work is rewarded when shearing is finished, wool baled and sent to the wool stores. You can take the farmer out of the bush, but can’t take the bush out of the farmer. We salute you !!!
